Our mission is to meet customer demands rapidly, by providing our expertise in designing and manufacturing printed circuit boards and guaranteeing reliable long-lasting solutions.
Created in 2002, our prototype activities enable us to propose complete services. They are directly incorporated into production lines.

| Objectives |
Meeting several objectives:
• Quick-turn manufacturing • Optimizing production runs (industrialization), NPI
Products concerned:
• Single electronic boards • A group of electronic boards for building an integrated assembly at a later date • An integration assembly • Wrapped products
| Human resources – production monitoring |
A dedicated organization
• Prototype project engineers • Industrialization engineers • Purchasers • Procurers • File administrators • Workshop technicians (SMD and cabling) • Operators • Internal training school
Project monitoring
• Prototype project managers coordinate actions made by different departments and provide customers with information on how their projects are progressing • Information on order progress is available on our extranet (TronicOnline)
| Resources - Organization |
Material resources and organization
• All our specific procedures and production equipment are made available for prototypes (e.g. SMD lines, mobile probe tests, etc) • Priority time-slots are allocated to prototypes
Materials/Processes:
• Varnishes • AOI • X-rays • Mini-wave • Spectrum • Single BGA machine • Thermal shock machine • Vibrator unit
| Purchases: FMEAs, PBOM… |
Objective:
• To meet constraints concerning short delivery schedules and component availability whilst complying with customer requirements and TRONICO purchasing strategies at the same time.
Services provided:
• Consultancy • Purchasing/procuring using provisional parts lists (PPL: provisional parts list): Launching supplies before the end of product design on the basis of a partial non-definitive parts list • Purchasing by credit card for possessing high levels of reactivity when placing orders on brokers or Internet sites • Purchasing from brokers with ad hoc acceptance control • Risk and obsolescence management via AMDEC purchases: Analysis of failure modes, their effects and their criticality levels
| Internal acceptance |
When the first prototype has been completed, TRONICO carries out internal acceptance tests on the product, during which the following points are monitored: • All customer requirements. Product conformity can then be validated • Any anomaly or difficulty encountered during manufacture. • Any possible improvements (involving the industrialization phase)
This acceptance control is carried out jointly by representatives from manufacturing, processes, quality, file management and purchasing.
Acceptance control of the first article with the customer can also be made in our premises in the presence of his representatives.
| Model - demonstrator |
Objective: This service takes place before prototypes are made and enables an efficient inexpensive check to be made in order to ensure that the end product will meet the initial requirement in terms of:
• Providing a “rough” of the future electronics board • Validating routing before beginning large-scale production • Validating different functionalities by independent blocks
Another associated service: Industrialization
• It may be necessary to initialize an industrialization phase in parallel with, or prior to, the prototype manufacturing phase
| Progressing from prototypes to production runs |
Meetings for progressing from prototypes to production runs enable:
• Experience acquired during prototype manufacture to be capitalized: - For processes - For supplies
• All useful information to be transmitted concerning: - The prototype service - Quality - The file Department - Purchasing - Production runs - Processes
| Completion schedules |
• A manufacturing schedule* varying from 2 to 14 working days depending on the services provided • The schedule may vary depending on the services (varnishes, Synor, functional testing, etc)
* on receipt of the PCB or the last critical components that are missing
